Will cropping reduce video quality?

The video is re-encoded only for the crop operation itself, which is unavoidable. We use libx264 with a high-quality preset so quality loss is minimal. Audio is always copied losslessly.

How do I crop a video for Instagram or TikTok?

Click the "9:16" aspect ratio button to lock the crop box to vertical format, drag the box to frame your subject, then click "Crop video". For a square Instagram post, use the "1:1" preset instead.

What is the maximum file size?

Up to 2 GB on desktop; mobile browsers may struggle above 500 MB. The whole video stays on your device — nothing is uploaded — so the limit is your device memory, not a server quota.
