No. The entire conversion runs in your browser using WebAssembly. Your video never leaves your device.

Why does it download ~25 MB on first use?

The FFmpeg processing engine needs to be loaded as a WebAssembly module. After the first use, your browser caches it so subsequent conversions start instantly.

What video formats are supported?

You can upload MP4, WebM, and MOV files. The output is always MP4 with the original audio track preserved.

What FPS values can I convert to?

Presets include 24 (cinema), 25 (PAL), 30 (NTSC), 50, and 60 fps. You can also enter any custom value between 1 and 240.
