How to use

  1. Select the band for age, heart rate, systolic BP, creatinine, and Killip class.
  2. Mark cardiac arrest, ST deviation, and elevated biomarkers if present.
  3. The total GRACE points and mortality-risk band update instantly.

Frequently asked questions

What is the GRACE score?

The Global Registry of Acute Coronary Events score estimates in-hospital and post-discharge mortality across the ACS spectrum (STEMI, NSTEMI, unstable angina).

How is in-hospital risk classified?

Score ≤ 108 low (< 1%), 109–140 intermediate (1–3%), > 140 high (> 3%) in-hospital mortality.

What about 6-month mortality?

Using the same point total, ≤ 88 = low, 89–118 = intermediate, > 118 = high 6-month mortality risk.

How does GRACE guide management?

A high GRACE score in NSTE-ACS supports an early invasive strategy; it also informs prognosis discussions and intensity of monitoring.
