When you need it
ISO VG numbers are the mid-point cSt at 40 °C — ISO VG 46 means 46 cSt = 4.6 × 10⁻⁵ m²/s. Water sits near 1 cSt at 20 °C; SAE 30 engine oil is roughly 100 cSt at 40 °C.
