How it works

  1. Current grade — your grade before the final (%).
  2. Final weight — what percent of the course the final counts.
  3. Target grade — the overall grade you want.

The formula

Required final = (target − current × (1 − finalWeight)) ÷ finalWeight. If the result exceeds 100%, the target is not achievable this term.
