Capacitance conversion factors
Every unit converts through the farad (the base unit). To convert A → B, multiply by A's factor and divide by B's:

When you need it
The ladder is factors of 1,000: pF → nF → µF → mF → F. Decoupling caps are usually 100 nF (0.1 µF), bulk electrolytics 10–1000 µF, and RF trimmers a few pF.
