# Third-party media notice — `public/exercises/`

The files in this directory are third-party material redistributed by
maratool. They are **not** covered by the repository's
[O'Saasy License](../../LICENSE); each set is governed solely by its own
license, reproduced below. In particular, the O'Saasy field-of-use
restriction (clause 2) does not apply to anything in this directory.

## `svg/` — exercise illustrations

- **Source:** https://github.com/everkinetic/data
- **Original license:** Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0
  International (CC BY-SA 4.0) —
  https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/
- **Modification:** maratool recolored these SVGs so their figure fills
  resolve to `currentColor` and their backgrounds to `none`, which lets
  the site's stylesheet tint each phase. No other change was made.
- **License of the modified files:** CC BY-SA 4.0. Under the ShareAlike
  term these adaptations carry the same license as the original, and may
  be reused by anyone on those terms. Attribution remains due to
  Everkinetic.

## `photos/` — exercise photographs

- **Source:** https://github.com/yuhonas/free-exercise-db
- **License:** the Unlicense — https://unlicense.org/ — i.e. released
  into the public domain. No attribution is required; maratool credits
  the project anyway.

## `browse-index.json`

Generated by `scripts/gen-exercises.mjs` from the two vendored datasets
above. Exercise names, muscle groups, equipment, and instructions
originate from those sources and carry their licenses.

## Not used

maratool uses no exercise media from Gym visual or any other proprietary
source.
