Working…
Cropping sets the page CropBox, so viewers show only the area you kept. The content outside it is hidden, not deleted — do not use a crop to hide sensitive text.
How to use
- Drop a PDF in, then drag on the page preview to draw the area you want to keep.
- Fine-tune with the top, right, bottom and left margin boxes, or click Trim white margins to snap to the printed area.
- Choose whether to crop this page, a range, or all pages, then crop and download.
Frequently asked questions
Does cropping delete what falls outside the box?
No. It sets the PDF CropBox, which changes what viewers display. The hidden content is still in the file, so a crop is not a redaction.
Can I crop every page at once?
Yes. Set the crop once, then pick All pages or type a range such as 2,5-9.
How do I trim the white margins off a scan?
Click Trim white margins. It finds the printed area and leaves 2 mm around it. Tick the per-page box when the scan drifts.
Will other readers respect the crop?
Yes. Acrobat, Preview, Chrome and e-readers all read the CropBox, and printing uses it too.
