The offsets
Women’s dresses: UK = US + 4, EU = US + 32, IT = US + 36, JP = US + 5. Men’s suits: UK = US (both chest inches), EU = US + 10. Shirt collars: EU cm ≈ US inches × 2.54. These alignments sit on the size-designation framework of ISO 8559-1.
Why fit still varies
